RTP: A - (B ∩ C) = (A - B) U (A - C) . Use the laws of set algebra (that is, set identities)?

1) I changed the minus's

the rule is X-YZ = X*Y' + X*Z' (i dont use union or intersection, unions are + intersections are *)

So the left of the equation is now

A*B' + A*C' You can even draw a 3 peice venn diagram to see this

Now you can do the same for the right side

(A-B)+(A-C) = A*B' + A*C'

And you see they are equal
