Does anyone know what would happen if i formatted my C:Drive because i want to set everything back?
Formatting is the answer, but be advised that EVERYTHING, personal files, pics, songs, etc. will be lost when you do this, unless you back them up first.

The "code" or product key should be on the back of the CD case Windows came in. If your version of Windows came pre-installed, you might also look on the back (or bottom if a laptop) of your computer.
Reply:Dell XPS put the windows key on the bottom of their laptops. Did you look there?

How about restore system and go back to the beginning?
Reply:If you formatted ur C: drive,

you can't use ur computer because you deleted the windows file

You have to install back windows

Search the code everywhere

OR

Buy new windows cd
Reply:once u format the c drive everything is gone same like flushing the toilet .,

on the other hand u cant format c drive from c

windows wonnt allow u to do tht , its like cutting a branch tht ur sitting .

u can format wen u start instaling the new os

anyway u already damaged ur os by deleting windows menus and folders

anyway reinsta it the key will be on the cd , or the cd cover , or the label containg the barcode
