My homepage is set to a html file C:\sample.html, how do I put this in trusted site?

I made my own homepage and have it located at

C:\sample.html

sample.html has some javascript on it that gets blocked by Internet Explorer, then I have to click at the top of the page and then allow the content. How do I configure internet explorere so this sample.html file is in my safe zone.

I went to Tools %26gt; Internet Options %26gt; Security. I went to try to add the site in the internet section and it said it had to have a valid http: address. So I then tried the Local Intranet and then tried addid C:\sample.html and it said there was a problem.

any ideas?

Install Apache web server, then you can put sample.html into the htdocs folder and it will appear as

http://localhost/sample.html
