Reply:simple

go to group policy editor

In Run command box type GPEDIT.MSC

go to user conf....%26gt;Adminis.. Templates%26gt;windows components%26gt;windows explorer%26gt;Hide specified drives in my Comp or prevent access to specified drives in my Comp

preventing access will give a error meessage when you click c: drive

whereas if you hide it then it can be accessed but not seen you can aceess it by typing c: in address bar
Reply:Dear U basicly want that no user can save any file on the drive ok!

I am sure that ur c drive is in NTFS. So u can try that in a very simple way. First create another user . Now login as administrator --Open my computer -- Right click on C drive --property -- click on quota. --- check enable quota management.

Click deny diskspace to the user exeding quota limit-- Now click on quota entry. --it will open another window.

Click quota-New quota entry-- click advance--- Find now-- selcet the user -- ok -- check limit disk space --assign 100 MB on first box %26amp; 80 mb on second box --click on ok. Close the window-- Now click on Apply --yes --ok.

Now login with that user see what happens ?

The user have Drive limit to 100 mb.

You can try to hide c drive using group policy.

Start-Run--gpedit.msc

Check following section

User configuration

Administrative Template

Reply:It's probably a better idea to just get a virtual drive that you can lock. Use a search engine and look for a virtual drive.
Reply:The link placed below links to a program that may do what you are asking for. It really depends on how you separate the users. I mean if you create a user account for other users and they have admin access, even if you manage to block it, they can unblock it, given if they know what their doing and with a full admin account.

I have not used the program below, but it looks like it maybe able to do what your asking.

WARNING, DO NOT TRY UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING!!!

If you are running Windows XP pro, you can create another user account (limited user) and right click on a bunch of folders to block access to that user, HOWEVER if you block access to the wrong folders ( such as temp files or program files and such) then your in a big mess.

In the end, please be more detailed on your question. For example if your in a network where there's a server, then you can set certain "Group Policies" that can accomplish what I think your asking...
